Gate-way terminal Poznan

At the end of September 2011 we have opened our new hub-terminal Poznan near Gadki.
The container terminal is located on an excellent geographical spot in Poland. It is one of the most modern, if not the most modern, terminal facilities in Poland providing full service around container transports to our clients. The new gate-way terminal will strengthen POLZUG’s excellent market position and contribute to environmentally sustainable resource management, the latter being part of POLZUG’s company policy.

Together with the opening of the new gate-way terminal POLZUG will introduce a new shuttle train system between the North Sea hub ports and Kornik leading to

  • reliable and short transit-times
  • high frequency of departures of from Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam with up to daily shuttle-train connections
  • reliable capacity planning due to fixed wagon sets
  • more slots available on trains
  • flexible response to specific customer requirements
